Tao Digital is very happy to give a warm welcome to our newest member of the team, Chloe Mitchell.
As our first senior hire, Chloe comes with years of experience and knowledge in all areas of marketing.
At Tao Digital, we are firm believers of investing in people and we are sure Chloe will be fundamental in taking our business to new heights!
Our goal is to continue to build a strong professional team that is capable of producing amazing results for our clients. Chloe's skillset fits perfectly into our agency and her strategic thinking will be invaluable to us.
So, without further ado, let's get acquainted!
Can you tell us a little more about your background in marketing?
I've worked in various businesses and marketing roles over the past 8 years, building upon my knowledge and learning via hands-on experience. I've recently come from a large corporate business where I really developed my career.
I'm now looking forward to applying my skills to benefit our multiple clients' businesses. And, as a Boltonian I'm glad to be back working in my hometown!
How will your previous experience help Tao Digital grow?
I believe coming from an in-house role will give me the ability to understand and appreciate our clients businesses and needs on a deeper level.
While digital is an important part of marketing, integrating this into their wider marketing strategy is critical for overall success.
With my strategic vision we aim to ensure all our client's marketing activities, both on and offline are aligned, leading to a more cohesive, results-orientated plan.
What excites you the most about the industry?
Marketing is an ever-changing landscape. While some people find this chaotic, I love it!
Keeping up to date with the latest trends, algorithm updates and everything in-between means you are constantly learning.
Surrounding myself with educated and passionate digital marketers alike is the best formula.
What did you want to do when you were growing up?
I always wanted to be an actress or TV presenter.
In my teens I did a lot of dancing and attended drama classes. I was on an agency and did a number of TV acting jobs. I actually went to University to study Drama & Theatre Studies but I didn't enjoy it, and wanted to work, so I came back home and pursued my Marketing career.
What's your favourite Netflix show?
I don't actually watch that much TV or Netflix to be honest. And I'm so behind on my favourite show...Power. I'm still on season 4 - so no spoilers please!
Due to the hype, I recently watched Game Changers and it has actually encouraged me to eat less meat. If you haven't watched it yet, you should.
What's your favourite food?
It's quite difficult to choose actually! But, you can't beat a Carrs pasty right?
