Essential Utility Solutions Case Study: Website Design & Development, SEO and PPC

We were recently approached by business utility comparison company, Essential Utility Solutions, to design and develop a new website for them based upon their existing brand guidelines. As part of the ongoing partnership we are also supporting the business to grow online with SEO and PPC services.

We loved their passion and drive to dominate this competitive market and build the businesses presence online so, naturally, we are really excited to be their digital partner.

With the development of a fresh looking, responsive website that reflects their core values and showcases their services we’ll continue to move the brand forward.

Naturally, the first step in achieving an online presence is to design and develop a website. We’ve carefully begun developing the site with SEO best practices at the core.

This includes;

  • Ensuring the site loads in a speedy, responsive manner – Nobody likes a painfully slow site, so Google certainly doesn’t!
  • Consider the user journey, planning and optimising the call to actions to increase the conversion rate
  • Implementing page titles, meta descriptions and relevant headings
  • Implement a blog to begin developing relevant search based content

The website is now live and over our partnership we will continue to develop it, with search in mind. A solid foundation has been created to drive traffic to the site.

Call To Actions

As much as the site needs to fit with brand and be visually appealing, what is also important is making it functional from a user experience point of view.

That’s why we made sure that there’s call to action buttons on every page so that the user always has a way to act on their decisions when they feel they are ready to get in touch.

Having a clear contact form at the bottom of every page is also important when it comes to increasing conversion rates.

SEO & PPC services to drive lead generation

We always explain to clients that SEO is a long-term strategy, whilst PPC can drive leads reasonably quickly. Because of this, we see many clients opting for both services, seeing the benefit in both a short and long term plan.

With a brand new website and starting from scratch from an organic search perspective it makes sense for Essential Utility Solutions to use PPC to drive initial traffic and leads. We have developed bespoke landing pages for each service to drive lead generation from all visits. With our PPC management expertise we continue to measure and monitor the accounts to drive down costs and maximise conversions.

With search marketing running through our veins, we’re now working on the SEO strategy for Essential Utility Solutions. This will begin to take shape over the next few months with technical SEO, content marketing and link building at the core.
